I am one of the 1,000 or so true Marlins fans left in this country. We are a dying breed indeed, despite the success of the franchise. In an effort to resurrect the support for these 2-time world champs, I once walked door to door trying to convert the population. I think the Jehovah's witnesses had a much higher success rate (and a lot less rides in the back seat of a police car) so I have decided to turn to the internet as a medium of convertion. I've watched and followed this team since Charlie Hough threw the first Florida pitch ever against the Dodgers. Funny thing is I live in NJ. (It's a looong story) My hatred for the Yankees was engrained in me at a young age; thus the 2003 World Series was a double-whammy! Hopefully I will be paid to express my views that you read in this blog (which i just joined in early April, hence the lack of entries) on the radio someday.
